THE
Toronto Youth Theatre 2008 CABARET CAMP
Registration is open to all without an audition
The Toronto Youth Theatre
Cabaret Camp is a two week program focusing on musical theatre
for young people. Each morning will be filled with games,
songs, dances and scenes aimed at building and improving
stage presence, performance skills and exciting social interaction.
Each performer will get a chance to shine on the last day
at our Closing Day Cabaret! Before a delghted audience of
friends and family, the campers will perform their favorite
scenes, songs and dances from the camp! So dim the lights
and cue the sound and get ready for a great time at the
best theatre day camp in Toronto!
Schedule
Camp runs August 18th
to August 29th
2 Weeks - Monday to Friday
Day begin at 9:00am and end at 1:00pm.
Each morning the performers
will arrive at 9:00am.
9:00 - 9:30: Group warm-up
and theatre games
9:35 - 11:00: Dance Rehearsal
11:00 - 11:15: Snack break
11:15 - 12:00 - Singing Rehearsal
12:05 - 1:00 - Scene Rehearsal
Each section of the day
will be separated by breaks for water and brief pauses for
games and other activities
Performance Dates
Friday August 29th
All rehearsals and performances take
place at the
Lower Ossington Theatre

This is a required
non-refundable fee for all those
participating in the 2008 Summer Program. A 50% deposit
will be required upon acceptance. Please contact us to find
out further information regarding fees.
We do offer a limited amount of financial
assistance in the form of bursaries. Please contact
us for further information regarding bursary applications.

We work to ensure that
every interested young person has the opportunity to develop
an artistic voice under the mentorship of professional artists
and educators. Our program is open to everyone and anyone
aged 13 to 20, from across the Greater Toronto Area, regardless
of previous theatre experience.

Theatre (TYT) is a registered charity that is dedicated
to giving students the chance to work and perform in a professional
theatre setting.
Our fundamental goal is to assist in the personal, cultural,
and social development of young people through the practice
of theatre.
