TYT CLASSES
Fall, 2008

Stage Combat
ages 13 to 19

Class Description
This class focuses on the creation and illusion of staged violence. From the most basic slaps and stage falls to the more complex patterns and styles used for duels and battles, students will learn how to perform safe and convincing fights for the stage.

The Toronto Youth Theatre's Artistic Director, Jeremy Hutton, will work with students on basic unarmed combat in a variety of styles, basic single sword work and basic knife technique.

At the end of the program there will be a small presentation of stage fights for an invited audience of friends and family!
