CLASSES
Fall, 2008
Winning
an Audition
ages 13 to 19
Class
Description
Auditioning in many ways is unlike performing. This class
focuses on giving students the knowledge and the tools they
need to have a successful audition. Students will learn
the basics of how to format a theatre resume, how to successfully
apply for an audition, how to interact with an audition
panel and how to properly prepare an audition piece. Every
student will leave this class equiped for any eventuality
and unafraid of their next audition.
Students will choose audition pieces, prepare them before
each class and work with experienced director and auditioner
Will O'Hare to transform them into audition winners!
At the end of the program
there will be a small presentation resembling a mock-audition
for an invited audience of friends and family!
